Thought At Work is a three-day,
student-run, student-focused design conference that takes place every October at Rochester Institute of Technology.

We bring together some of the best industry professionals with hundreds of passionate students for a weekend of inspiration, collaboration, and instruction that you can’t get in the classroom.

Watch last year’s recap video to get a feel for the conference and hear some of our speakers talk about their experiences.

What We Offer

Registering for the conference means signing up for invaluable workshops, insightful talks, cool events, tasty meals, afterparties, after-after parties, and just kicking back with a few of the coolest people in the world. Thought At Work is an opportunity to learn a ton and be immersed in a deeper design community. We also have bagels.

Who Should Come

This is a conference for designers. More specifically, it centers around the interests of industrial, graphic, motion, 3d, and interactive designers/developers. Our workshops and events are primarily student-focused (but we welcome all graduates, high schoolers, young professionals, industry vets, dabblers, and design moms).
